Since 2002, the Pompidou Expressway was closed in August to provide place for leasure

In 2013, the street along rive droite was closed permanently for car traffic

As a first step in the early 2010s, the Expressway Georges Pompidou war converted to a normal street
|
|
|
|
From 2016 on, this stretch too was given back to the pedestrians and bikers. The success was tremendous.

In the meantime, the Berges Rive Droit developed to a frequented meeting place
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
One of the highlights: the floating gardens, called "Jardin d'Archipel"
